This Mastiii 4 review looks at the franchise’s attempt to revive its once-popular comedy style. The film tries to recreate the energy of earlier installments but struggles to offer fresh humour or memorable moments. While the original Masti movies entertained with playful charm, this new sequel relies on loud jokes and recycled ideas.
Plot Summary: A Love Visa Turns into Trouble
The story follows Amar, Meet and Prem, three husbands living dull married lives. They grow jealous when their friend Kamraj claims he enjoys a “love visa,” a week of yearly freedom approved by his wife. The trio demands the same at home, which sparks chaos. Their marriages shake, misunderstandings grow and the comedy turns wild.
The film moves fast, but the humour loses impact. Most scenes focus on confusion and forced chaos instead of clever writing.
Performances: Mixed Efforts from the Lead Trio
Riteish Deshmukh gives the most honest performance. He tries hard to carry weak scenes and bring life to Amar’s character.
Aftab Shivdasani stays consistent with his earlier franchise tone and delivers a few fun moments.
Vivek Oberoi brings high energy, but the humour often feels loud rather than funny.
The supporting cast, including Tusshar Kapoor, has potential but never receives strong material. Genelia Deshmukh appears briefly and brightens the screen, but her cameo ends too soon.
Humour: Crude Jokes Over Smart Writing
This Mastiii 4 review highlights the film’s biggest problem—its comedy. Many jokes feel outdated and depend on toilet humour. The screenplay uses noise and shock instead of smart punchlines. Repeated gags and predictable scenes make the film feel stretched.
The movie tries to recreate the earlier franchise charm but lacks creativity and timing.
Final Verdict: A Weak Return for the Franchise
In conclusion, this Mastiii 4 review shows that the film fails to revive the magic of the earlier movies. The script lacks wit, the humour feels forced and the plot collapses midway. Fans of the series may enjoy a few nostalgic moments, but the overall experience remains disappointing.
