The BCCI has named the India Under-19 squad for the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2025, which will be held in Dubai from December 12. Ayush Mhatre will lead the team as captain, with Vihaan Malhotra as his deputy. Aggressive opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi is also included, promising an exciting batting lineup for India.

Ayush Mhatre’s Recent Form

Mhatre had a strong IPL 2025 season with Chennai Super Kings, scoring 240 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of nearly 189. However, his recent form has been inconsistent. On India’s tours to England and Australia, he struggled in one-day matches but excelled in Youth Tests, scoring 340 runs in two matches in England. Domestically, he managed 156 runs in four first-class games but recently scored an unbeaten 53-ball 110 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, helping Mumbai to a seven-wicket win over Vidarbha.

The ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup will follow the one-day format.
