Red Fort Blast Aides Assisted Umar Nabi
The National Investigating Agency (NIA) has confirmed that Dr. Umar Nabi, the suicide bomber behind the November 10 Red Fort blast, carried out the attack with help from two key aides. The investigation shows that Amir Rashid Ali arranged logistics and provided a safe house, while Jasir Bilal Wani offered technical assistance.
Amir Rashid Ali’s Role in Red Fort Blast Aides Network
Ali, a resident of Pampore in South Kashmir, owned the vehicle used in the blast. National Investigating Agency officials stated that he coordinated Nabi’s movements and ensured he had shelter before the attack. The court granted 10 days of custodial interrogation to uncover the full conspiracy. Authorities will later take Ali to Kashmir for further questioning. This shows that Ali played a critical logistical role in the Red Fort blast aides network.
Jasir Wani Provided Technical Support
Jasir Wani, also known as Danish, modified drones and attempted to make rockets to assist Nabi in carrying out the blast. He hails from Qazigund in Anantnag and was arrested from Srinagar by the National Investigating Agency team. Officials say Wani’s technical skills were vital in executing the attack, making him a central figure among the Red Fort blast aides.

Blast Designed to Cause Fear
The National Investigating Agency highlighted that the blast’s precision and intensity aimed to instill fear, panic, and threaten India’s sovereignty. Investigators are expanding their probe to identify additional conspirators linked to the Red Fort blast network.
Investigation Continues
The National Investigating Agency continues to interrogate Ali and Wani. Their cooperation may reveal further details about how Nabi and his aides planned and executed the attack. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing national security.
