The Vivo X300 India launch has officially taken place, bringing two new premium smartphones to the flagship segment. Vivo has introduced the X300 and X300 Pro to challenge top competitors such as the Oppo X9 series, OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15. Because the lineup focuses heavily on imaging, performance and display quality, it aims to attract users who want a high-end, camera-centric device.

Vivo X300 India Launch: Display and Performance
The standard X300 features a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Both models include Armor Glass and carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust, water and accidental drops.
Under the hood, both phones run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, ensuring smooth performance. They also ship with OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. Vivo has promised five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security patches, making long-term support a major selling point.

Camera System and Pro-Level Imaging
Since photography is the highlight of the series, Vivo has added advanced Zeiss-powered optics. The X300 carries a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It also uses Vivo’s V3+ chip for improved 4K HDR portrait video.
The X300 Pro expands on this with a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom. On the front, both models use a 50MP selfie camera for sharp images and detailed video calls.
